Engineered laminated timber core — heavy, solid, and it sounds it when you knock. This is not a hollow uPVC skin.

PAS 24 certified with 3-star anti-snap TS 007 cylinders, multi-point hook locking, anti-drill and anti-pick. Insurance-recognised.
GRP Skin, Any RAL
Moulded glass-reinforced polymer skin in every classic colour — Blue, Green, Black, Chartwell, Painswick — plus any RAL to order. Colour-fast for 15 years, guaranteed.
Full Ironmongery Choice
Polished brass, brushed nickel, chrome, black, antique bronze — matching numerals, letterplate, door knocker, handle and spy-viewer.
Glazed & Side-Panel Options
Fully glazed, half-glazed, with arched fanlight, one or two side lights, or a solid panel — every classic Victorian and Georgian threshold, matched.
Threshold Options

How do composite doors compare to timber?+
The look is nearly identical from three paces; the finish lasts far longer. A painted timber door needs stripping and repainting every 3–5 years. Our composite finish is guaranteed colour-fast for 15.
Are composite doors warmer than uPVC?+
Marginally — 1.2 W/m²K vs 1.4 W/m²K on standard glazing. The bigger difference is the 44mm solid core, which cuts noise transmission and gives the door a reassuring weight when it closes.
Can I match a heritage colour?+
Yes. Chartwell Green, Painswick, Farrow-and-Ball Hague Blue and Downpipe are among the most-requested. Any RAL is available to order for around 10% more.
What's the security like?+
3-star anti-snap TS 007 cylinder as standard — the highest anti-snap rating available. Combined with multi-point hook locking and laminated inner glass on side panels, it's the specification insurers ask for.
How long do they take to make?+
6–8 weeks from order to installation is typical, including survey, template, manufacture and fitting. Painted RAL colours add around a week.
